Important Ticket + Entrance Information: This is one of the MFA’s free admission days for Juneteenth so tickets for general admission and this screening are both first come, first serve. General Admission tickets into the museum go on sale at 10am day-of and once you’re in the Museum, you can go to Remis Auditorium to get a film screening ticket which will be available at 6pm. We recommend getting to Remis Auditorium early to get in line.

This film screening is not included in the festival pass.

Featuring artists Faith Ringgold and Mary Enoch Elizabeth Baxter, PAINT ME A ROAD OUT OF HERE uncovers the whitewashed history of Faith's masterpiece "For the Women's House" and follows its 50-year journey from Rikers Island to the Brooklyn Museum in a heartbreaking, funny & true parable for a world without mass incarceration.
