Crafted from never before seen footage originally captured in 1972, this documentary chronicles the live recording of Aretha Franklin’s album Amazing Grace—the most successful gospel album of all time—at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Watts, Los Angeles.

Preceded by a discussion with Dr. Emmett Price III of Gordon Conwell Theological School; and Renee Graham, associate editor and columnist for The Boston Globe.
